I am taking the initiative to recall my patients and verify the presence/absence of a diabetes diagnosis by MD involvement and not just symptoms. I am very aware of cognitive deviations that take place with inconsistencies that are not noticed with the presence of other diseases. And, it may be difficult to link the symptom with a disease!
