Kim Parra is a Colorado native and has been mainstreamed all her life. While growing up, Kim has gone to summer camps for deaf kids, specifically to Aspen Camp and Youth Leadership Camp. She has been fortunate to serve families with children with hearing loss providing literacy and sign language instruction since 2008.
She has quickly learned that her passion is working with children and bridging the communication gap within families. Kim received her Bachelors in Criminology from University of Denver and worked in the criminal justice system for 12 years. In her spare time, Kim loves spending time with her four children. She enjoys biking and traveling.
